Akhil Sheoran

DOB: 23-07-1995

Akhil hails from Uttar Pradesh and has emerged as the most promising junior in the rifle events. He won a bronze medal in Asian Air Gun Junior Championships in China in December 2012. He followed it up with a Gold medal in the Junior category at the National Championships in Delhi in December 2012. He also won the Champion of the Champions event at the Gun for Glory championships by beating more experienced and fancied senior rifle shooters. Akhil has already represented India at the a couple of world cups.

Silver – 10 m Air Rifle, National Games, Kerala 2015.
Bronze – 10 m Air Rifle, International shooting competition of Hannover 2015.
4th – 10 m Air Rifle, International junior cup, Suhl 2014.
Silver – Junior world cup, Suhl 2015
4th – Asian Olympic qualifying tournament, New Delhi 2016
