Shreya Gawande

DOB: 30-06-1995

She currently trains in Pune. She started shooting at an age of 12 in a local summer shooting camp influenced by her Grandfather who was IG in Bombay at that time. Her first coach was Monali Gorhe, an NIS trained coach and former national level shooter from Nashik who started training her in 2006. Her most memorable moment was when she shot her personal best in Air Pistol (386/400) in Master’s Meet at Pune in 2012.

At the 2014 Meeting for Shooting Hopes in Plzen, Czech Republic, Shreya won the Gold medal in both 10 m Air Pistol and 25 m Sports Pistol

Shreya Gawande had earlier won a gold and a silver in the German Open International Shooting tournament in Hannover in 2012.
